Sue the T. rex
The Field Museum in Chicago

When Sue first came to The Field Museum, her skull looked very different from how it looks today. The top and bottom halves were smashed together and it was filled with solid rock. It took a team of seven fossil preparators over 3,500 hours to clean and repair Sue's skull. They spent more time working on the skull than on any other part of Sue's skeleton.
